Von Abercron Residence offers two self-catering apartments and is situated on a mountain slope directly above the Hermanus Golf Course and adjacent to Fernkloof Nature Reserve with magnificent and panoramic mountain and sea views. It's only a few minutes to the centre of Hermanus and the best places to watch whales, or to the two main beaches (Grotto Beach & Voelklip Beach).

Guests are offered not only a high standard of comfort, but also a restful environment in a quiet, safe and peaceful area. Guests are invited to use the lovely garden with a saltwater pool and barbeque facilities under the covered lapa.
Enjoy nature with the sound of birds and unbelievable views, only metres from the superb golf course and mountain trails.

There are two beautifully decorated and comfortable apartments each with a fully equipped kitchen:

Blue Ocean apartment-
The prime apartment consisting of a double room with queensize bed, bathroom en-suite, living area with daybed and library, kitchenette and big balcony with table and chairs overlooking golf course and sea.

Rose Garden apartment-
a Beautiful apartment overlooking the rose garden and fountain, consisting of a double room with kingsize bed, bathroom en-suite, living area with daybed, kitchenette and covered terrace.

Other facilities include: heater, satellite TV, internet access, safe, under-floor heating, heated towel rail, hairdryer, radio, laundry service, secure parking on premises.

There are many top golf courses in and around the area: Hermanus, Arabella, Kleinmond, Strand etc.

Please note:

We are a non-smoking house. Please bring your own beach towels. We can book your tee times at all golf courses around Hermanus and you are welcome to store your clubs in the garage. On request we make bookings for restaurants, shark-cage diving and whale-watching trips.

The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving.
The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
