Kleinmond is surrounded by Nature reserves and has the start of many walking and hiking trails. There is a 9 hole golf course and the nearby Arrabella internationally acclaimed golf course is 11 km away. Spatalla is situated in Kleinmond, a vibrant little town known for its beautiful Blue-Flag beaches and unspoilt stretches of wilderness. Downstairs you will find an indoor gas braai, wine chiller, bar fridge, ice-maker, outdoor chess set, outdoor patio set with loungers which will guarantee a total state of relaxation. Turn on the music and lay next to the pool with the splash of water in the background. The upstairs entertainment area consists of a readers lounge with its own mini-library, indoor fire place with braai facilities and Bar area that opens onto the grass covered balcony. Chalet 10, Meerensee is a self catering property about an hour's drive away from Cape Town International Airport and 6km outside Hermanus on the R43. It is situated within the beautiful Botriver Nature Reserve and is part of a gated, access controlled complex. The private, gated estate offers excellent security, especially for a family with kids, and visitors can also enjoy the large swimming pool, children's pool, play area and two tennis courts at the clubhouse. The chalet is very close to the lagoon and access to the beach is via a wooden footbridge. The bird life around the lagoon is abundant, including flamingos, pelicans, oystercatchers and terns, so don't forgot your binoculars! A troupe of about 26 wild horses can regularly be seen free roaming around the lagoon. The lagoon is also great for small boat sailing, wind surfing and kite boarding. The property has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious living / dining / kitchen area. Situated a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach with several rock pools, which are perfect for children, Tshayile is simply ideal for a family holiday. The house is spacious, comfortable, light and airy and it offers stunning sea and magical mountain views. Tshayile sleeps six, one bedroom has a queen size bed, the other two have two single beds in each. The bedrooms are of equal size with built-in cupboards. Tshayile is fully furnished, with a spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining room with large glass sliding doors on the north and south sides. This will delight and fascinate young and old alike. The Harold Porter botanical gardens are just a short drive away, and ideal for gentle walks, mountain hikes or picnics. The Disa waterfall is a must to visit as is Leopard's Kloof. There is also a child-friendly restaurant, with a verandah and a grassed area which is perfect for children to explore and enjoy. Cactus Lodge

Merlon offers self catering accommodation for 10 people, in 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 5 have King Sized beds, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 single beds. The beds in bedrooms 2 and 3 can be converted to King sized if required. Come and enjoy the 200TC linen to make your sleep extra special. Two of the bathrooms and the kitchen run off a gas geyser system. Lidiko Heritage House

Lidiko Heritage House is an iconic and historical 1879, lovingly restored, Sea Side Villa. The villa used to be visited by Statesmen, artists and poets. It was bought by the current owners in 2016 and totally restored and purpose built as a boutique hotel. Lidiko Heritage House is situated in Onrus, approximately 6 km from Hermanus CBD. Set amidts age old Milk wood forests and 100 metres from the Ocean, it is the ideal location for people that want to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle, but close to the sea and everything the Overberg region offers. Although elegant, it has a relaxed atmosphere. You will leave feeling pampered and rested. In order to enjoy a totally relaxed stay, we regrettably do not allow children under the age of 16 years. Lidiko Heritage house offers 5 en-suite rooms. The rooms are fitted with either a King size bed or two twin beds. The Luxury rooms are 35 sq. m, whist the standard rooms are 25 sq.m. Stunning, self catered, sea front house located in Onrus River, with spectacular ocean and mountain views. Minutes walk from a sandy beach and tidal pool, and a variety of excellent restaurants. 10 to 15 minutes drive from Hermanus, known as one of the world's best whale viewing sites with many shops and restaurants. One hour's drive from Cape Town International airport and close to Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Robertson wine regions. The house is situated on a small peninsula in Onrus known locally as 'the island'. It faces due West and benefits from some magnificent sunsets. There is a river outlet at the beach which provides safe, warm swimming for children in the lagoon. The tidal pool is wonderful to enjoy at high tide. There are numerous coastal walks in the area which are very popular with both locals and visitors. The little town of Onrus is about 15 kilometres from Hermanus. It has a local shop, pub and restaurants within walking distance of the house and a shopping centre less than five minutes drive away. Hermanus has all modern amenities such as supermarkets, banks, library, cinema and many restaurants and coffee shops. Downstairs doors have security gates for your peace of mind. There is an outside shower for you to rinse off after walking back from the beach. Apartment:At the back of the property is a studio flat above a double garage. This accommodates a further 2 people and would only be used as overflow to the main house and not rented out simultaneously. It is self-contained with kitchen area and bathroom (shower) in addition there are superb ocean views from it's balcony. Bedding (linen, duvets & blankets) is fully provided. Bath sheets and towels are also provided for all guests. Beach towels are not provided but can be arranged at a fee. Double garage is not for visitors' use but there is adequate, off street parking for up to 3 cars. The house is non-smoking but ashtrays are provided for use on the balcony. No dogs allowed.

Spatsels

The name "Spatsels" (sea spray) says it all of this house 100 meters from the beach. A panoramic view from the open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room allows you to watch the whales at play, surfers braving the waves and kids playing on the beach.
