Norfolk Guest House offers accommodation on a limited self catering or room-only basis in Hermanus, and is ideally situated within easy walking distance to all the amenities and a stones throw from the cliff path, famous for unforgettable whale viewing. The guest suites are individually designed to suit the needs of discerning travelers. Cosy and warm in winter while comfortably fresh and cool in the summer. Special suites cater for disability access, pet friendly, honeymooners, longer stays and relaxing break aways. Directly opposite the oncology clinic and very close to Medi Clinic and hospital.
Managed by Storm Kreusch with a long and successful track record in the hospitality field. Together with her dog and 2 cats she eagerly looks forward to make your stay comfortable and memorable at Norfolk Guest House.
The 5 spacious en suite rooms are well equipped ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay. Entrance to each suite is semi private from a short passage leading off the guest courtyard. Safe off street parking. Park and walk is the order of the day.
Each unit extends onto a private outdoor garden area to enjoy Hermanus' champagne air or typical South African barbeque.
The swimming pool is not fenced and is therefore not suitable for young children and non swimmers. It does however offer decadent enjoyment for sun seekers including a shady patio. The swimming pool patio leads to a beautiful garden terrace offering the most amazing views of the mountains and a glimpse of the ocean.
Each suite is serviced daily. Please notify management if you would prefer not to use this free service. Towels will be replaced every 3rd day. Please use the drying racks provided to dry towels in the sun. For longer stays sheets will be changed weekly.
Norfolk Guest House has a library of books and DVD's which you are encouraged to enjoy during your stay.

Sunbird Suite
Large quiet suite. Extra length King/ twins on request. Percale linen.
Spacious full bathroom with complimentary toiletries.
Concise well equipped kitchenette for light self catering. Small under counter fridge, microwave, electric fry pan , one plate cooker, kettle and toaster. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided.
Private outdoor patio garden.
Modern flat screen TV with openview DSTV . DVD player. Free WiFi within reason.
Blue Crane
Private entrance to this spacious suite. Extra length King sized bed. On request a small child can be accommodated on a mattress.
Spacious full bathroom with complimentary toiletries for your use while visiting. The shower has flat access and tiled footrest/low seat.
Concise well equipped kitchenette for light self catering. Small under counter fridge, microwave, electric fry pan , one plate cooker, kettle and toaster. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided.
On request, a simple pre packed breakfast can be placed in your kitchenette for an additional cost of R60.
The outdoor patio garden is ideal for barbeque and lovely outdoor dining. A "weber braai" will be provided on request.

Flamingo Suite
This is a romantic, private upstairs unit. King sized bed. Double doors give the guests direct access to the stunning garden terrace with amazing mountain views and a glimpse of the sea.
Spacious full bathroom with complimentary toiletries for your use while visiting.
Concise well equipped kitchenette for light self catering. Small under counter fridge, microwave, electric fry pan , one plate cooker , Kettle and toaster. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils provided. However should you require further equipment such as a griller, slow cooker or sandwich toaster we will supply within reason. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided.
The sheltered outdoor patio garden is ideal for barbeque and lovely outdoor dining. A "weber braai" will be provided on request. Fire lighters and briquettes are not provided but you can purchase these from management.

Oystercatcher
This bright, spacious suite is also wheel chair friendly. Extra length King sized bed. Pet friendly with prior arrangement. ( NB PRIOR arrangement>) Large roll in shower with specialized accessories. Bath tub is open plan to bedroom

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
